Happy New Year
Yes, Yes, I know. The first day of the year is almost gone. Sorry! Just took this long to get ’round to sitting down with my laptop!
I don’t make resolutions. Honestly it just sets oneself up for failure. I do have hopes for this year. I hope to write(and get published) more. I hope to get healthier. I hope to sail, hike, swim, kayak, and all those outdoor things that I love to do.
So, I’ve decided to start my own 365 project. And it’s simple, really. To get outside every day for at the least a walk. And my way of tracking it will be to take a picture.
This was from today’s walk. Tater and I got lucky as we walked, having only a few raindrops finding us while it seemed it rained quite a bit at home during our hour plus ramble. I like near one of the historic districts of Atlanta, and there’s quite a bit of old brickwork. This long wall caught my attention with its stately grace and rich color.
So here we go. Day one down. Three hundred, sixty four to go.
Happy New Year hun! Hope your project continues along smoothly. I’m sure Tater appreciates this project.
